The Sea Monster is a giant monster that guards the Ogama Pure Stone in the Monastery of Gata-Sum.
Description[]
This beast resembles a mixture of sea turtle and crab. Its massive body is protected by a shell on its back. It has two pincers for hands, and walks on two sets of legs. The monster lies dormant in an underwater cavern at the center of the Monastery. To warn intruders of its presence, it lets out a low moan.
Pure Stone[]
Mel has a dream of the Monastery, and the Defenders use their Aqua Stones to reach it. The stone is tucked away in a narrow crevice, and to avoid touching it they have Robotus carefully balance it on a spider web. However, they are ambushed by Malco who casts a spell on Robotus, causing the guardian to drop the Pure Stone. The stone rolls over and hits the well at the center of the Monastery, awakening the Sea Monster. It is disturbed further by the Defenders fighting Malco, and eventually emerges from the water. At first it attacks the Defenders, but quickly turns its attention to Flinch and grabs him with its pincer. Malco comes to his rescue and grabs onto its head, causing it to let Flinch go free. As the Monastery floods, Malco continues to punch the monster's head while it descends back into its cavern.
