Max is an elderly man who lives with his granddaughter.

Biography

He lives in an abandoned mining town, scrounging around for small pieces of Dakocite to trade for food to travellers.

In the town, when the Dakocite ran out, it was shut down by the mine lords. However, he is too old to leave and start over, so he stayed.

Vitus

He does not believe the occurrences that Sasha claims that she has seen, as he has not been in the mine for ages. He helps the Defenders enter the mine, with his map of the shafts.

After the mine collapses, Max and Sasha decide to move to another town on the other side of the river.
